Brighton have signed USA forward forward Taylor Smith on loan from Gotham FC for the rest of the season.
The 30-year-old has won the NWSL Championship twice, with Western New York Flash in 2016 and New Jersey-based Gotham in November.
Brighton are third from bottom of the Women’s Super League.
“Taylor is an experienced player with a competitor’s mindset and brings a wealth of experience,” said Brighton head coach Melissa Phillips.
“We are eager to help her settle in and see the value she will add to our team for the rest of the season as we aim to climb the table.”
